The hottest temperature in Austria was recorded in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg, Lower Austria at 40.5c in August 2013. The hottest temperature in Wales was recorded in Hawarden Flintshire at 37.1c in July 2022
The coldest temperature in Austria was recorded at the Sonnblick Observatory at -37.3c in January 1905. The coldest temperature in Wales was recorded in Rhyader, Rodnorshire at -23.3 in January 1940.
